Who processes personal data
The controller of personal data is Pavel Sklenář, Company ID 75910934, with registered office at Krty č.p. 10, 270 33 Krty u Jesenice, Czech Republic.

The controller operates the HuDBoX online platform available at hudbox.cz.

What personal data we process
We process data that the user provides when registering and using an account, in particular email address, username, profile information, and content the user chooses to share through the service.
Technical and operational data may also arise, such as IP address, information about device and browser, or basic security and operational logs.
In connection with cookies and similar technologies, data about website visits, technical device information, and statistical data may also be processed.

Why we process personal data
We process personal data primarily for the purpose of creating and managing user accounts, operating the service, securing the platform, and enabling communication between users.
Other purposes may include content personalisation where available, sending newsletters and marketing communications based on consent, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of the controller’s legitimate interests.

Legal bases for processing
Depending on the specific situation, processing is based on performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interest, or compliance with a legal obligation.
Typically this concerns operation of the account and service, security, prevention of abuse, accounting and tax obligations, and where applicable optional cookies or marketing.

Children under 15
The service may also be used by persons under 15 years of age.
Processing of their personal data is only possible with the consent of a legal guardian or within a school project under the supervision of the school and according to its rules.
If the controller finds that a child’s data has been processed without appropriate consent, the account may be restricted or removed and appropriate remedial measures may be taken.

How long we keep data
Account-related data is generally retained for the duration of the account.
After deletion, some data may still be retained for a reasonable period, for example for security, dispute resolution, or compliance with legal obligations, or may be anonymised.
Payment and invoicing data is retained for the period required by law, especially accounting and tax regulations.

Recipients and processors
Personal data may be disclosed to hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics services, and payment service providers to the extent necessary.
The current privacy page explicitly mentions, for example, Google Analytics and, in the case of paid features, also Stripe and PayPal.
HuDBoX does not store payment card details directly; payment data is processed by the relevant payment service providers.

Transfers outside the EU and EEA
If personal data is transferred outside the EU or EEA, this is done only with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR.
This may include standard contractual clauses or other recognised protection mechanisms.

Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have in particular the right of access to personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
The current privacy page refers to the Czech Data Protection Authority (ÚOOÚ).

Data security
The controller implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
At the same time, given the nature of the internet, absolute security of data transfer or storage cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to the policy
The privacy policy may be updated from time to time.
The current version is always available on the HuDBoX website.
